Where to stay in Tokyo
Four areas, each with its own strengths.
The areas I recommend: Shibuya, near Tokyo Station, near Shinagawa Station, and Asakusa.
Ginza or Marunouchi first: central and by the bullet-train station. Shinjuku and Shibuya if you want the nightlife.
I stayed at a hotel in Shibuya: great location, rooms and staff, but street noise reaches the room. 7 to 8 out of 10.
